LA River Trail
Welcome to the LA River Trail banner project! Discover the beauty of the river as you embark on a scenic journey filled with nature, adventure, and relaxation. Whether you’re an avid hiker, cyclist, or simply looking for a peaceful escape from the city, the LA River Trail offers something for everyone.
Goal:
Create 3 banners for LA River Trail that can be understood alone and be cohesive all together.
Research
These banners had to give information quickly to passer-byers. The targetted audience were mainly tourist. There is a potential langauge barrier therefore, showing a picture can communicate more than words can.
Development
A few things came to mind when moving forward with thumbnails is that “LA” is globally understood as a location, and has to be part of the design to show “where.”
Instead of Tell
Next, is “what.” What can you do there? This is where one would show instead of tell. One activity someone can do that was purposefully left out was fishing as a permit is needed for that.
